Mcclain Wins 18 National Awards Including Nine GoldMcClain Interactive Agency, a strategic interactive marketing solutions firm with offices at 75 Washington Avenue in Portland and 27 W24th Street in New York City today announced that it received 18 awards in the Sixth Annual Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA) national competition. Nine (or half of the total) were Gold Awards; three Silver and six Merit Awards made up the remainder. All of the McClain clients recognized in this year’s competition are Maine-based companies. This year’s total is almost double the ten awards McClain Marketing received in last year’s competition, and is the second-highest total of all of this year’s award winners.![]() Nearly 1,200 entries from more than 250 advertising agencies and 900 service institutions throughout the country were received for this year’s awards competition. A national panel of judges evaluated and rated entries in 12 groups and 27 categories. Every entry was reviewed for execution, creativity, quality, consumer appeal, and overall “breakthrough” advertising content. “We’re excited, particularly for our clients, to once again be recognized at the national level for the award-winning work we produce,” said Sue-Ellen McClain, president of McClain Marketing Group. “The number of awards we received this year, representing clients across a range of service industries, shows the breadth and depth of our creative capabilities.
